Kerm's 40th

We had a SURPRISE party for Kermit's 40th B-Day and it worked! He had no idea; the kids seemed to enjoy themselves, but why not with all the different versions of SUGAR they had to choose from!!!

Trek Update

We survived!!! The 2 girls did a good job and had a good experience. I worked hard as part of the food committee but I was glad that I got to go as well. We visited Independence Rock, Dan Jones Cove, Martin's Cove, the girls helped with the women's pull, and notice Bekah's hand...she broke it in cheerleading.

Tomorrow Paige, Bekah and I leave at 5am for a pioneer trek!! Wish us luck!!!

It's Official !!!

It's official---Paige can now DRIVE!!! It's just her permit but she's so excited she's been telling everyone in a high pitched voice and she can hardly stand still! Watch out--we have a new driver on the road.

Camping

During our annual camping trip we blew out a tire on a rock, went fishing, enjoyed smores and FROZE at night!!! It was the coldest its ever been up there--36 degrees!!!

NEW JOB!!!

Kerm has a new job!! He'll be taking a week off and his start date is July 14, 2008!! We're soo excited!! He gets to wear jeans to work every day and has to have steel toed boots as well. He's excited to work in the new office because there is a huge window and he'll be able to watch them digging and hauling out stuff, and when they blast he'll be able to feel it in his office!! (That's a little scary to me but not Kerm!)
